Copacabana, Colombia - April 2022 - With the aim of fostering the implementation of GC 28 in the Salesian Province of Medellín (COM) and to deepen the orientations presented by the program guidelines of the Rector Major, Fr Ángel Fernández Artime, and the General Council, its Provincial Chapter began on April 24. Thirty-five Capitulars and two guests participated in the assembly, including Fr Miguel Ángel García, General Councilor for Youth Ministry, who is concluding his Extraordinary Visit to the Province. Fr Luis Fernando Valencia, COM Provincial, declared the Provincial Chapter open. "We implore the action of the Holy Spirit to accompany our chapter brothers in discerning the signs of the times so that the COM 'St. Louis Bertrando' Province may continue to fecundate the action of the Kingdom of God in the hearts of young people and the Educational Pastoral Communities in the Colombian West."
