Lonavla, India - April 2022 - The Salesian Province of Mumbai (INB) began its second session of the Provincial Chapter on April 19 at the "Don Bosco Lonavla" work: "Implementation of GC 28". This event assumes greater significance as the Salesians in Mumbai are celebrating their 50th anniversary this year. The initial retreat was led by Jesuit educator, sociologist, and pastor, Father Frazer Mascarenhas. INB Provincial, Fr Savio Silveira, referring to Don Bosco, invited the Chapter members to be far-sighted and perceptive, to use God's gaze on reality and to be full of introspective insight, to be attractive witnesses to the poorest and most abandoned.
