K'Long, Vietnam - April 2022 - On Wednesday, April 20, at the chapel of the Salesian Retreat Center in K'Long, Msgr. Pierre Nguyên Van Dê, SDB, presided over the opening Mass of the Provincial Chapter of Vietnam. In his homily, Msgr. Nguyên Van Dê addressed a message to the Chapter members, reminding them to always be faithful to their identity and especially to always commit themselves to the main Salesian mission: saving the souls of young people. After the Mass, the Provincial Chapter began, presided over by Fr Barnabas Le An Phong, VIE Provincial, with the participation of 72 Chapter members led by Fr Ngoc Vinh, Regulator. The first day ended with a "good night" by Fr Joseph Nguyen Thinh Phuoc, Councilor for the Asia East-Oceania Region.
