Córdoba, Argentina - April 2022 - On April 3 and 4, the National Team of the Salesian Youth Movement (SYM) held the year’s first in-person meeting in Córdoba. Participants included young people and consecrated persons from the five SDB and FMA provinces, as well as the representatives of the SYM in the National Youth Ministry. After the presentation of the participants and the welcome to the new members, a moment of prayer began. Afterward, the path of the National Council in 2021 was taken up, the Keys to Salesian Youth Spirituality were deepened and the steps to be taken as SYM of Argentina in view of the next assembly in 2023 were highlighted. The assembly takes place in the context of the unification of the Provinces of the FMA of Argentina (2023) and the preparation for the 150th anniversary of the arrival of the Salesian charism in Argentina (2025). The objective is to revitalize Salesian Youth Spirituality as an experience of holiness in the new youth contexts through the methodology "Fascinate, listen, discern and convert", adopted by the National Youth Ministry.
