El Salvador - Don Bosco University inaugurates labs for specialized training in Industrial and Product Design
Soyapango, El Salvador - March 2022 – On March 14, the Don Bosco University (UDB) of El Salvador inaugurated new spaces for Experimentation and Prototyping, which complement the new laboratories for technical and specialized training for students in the Industrial and Product Design degree program. The rooms complement the laboratories and workshops for experimentation with ceramics, wood, and digital fabrication, with which students will be able to assemble their academic, research, and graduate projects. Students in other courses and UDB officials will also be able to take advantage of the services provided by these labs. The upgrade and renovation of this infrastructure will benefit more than 1,300 students and about 50 small businesses with which the UDB collaborates. "This project not only shows the firm commitment of the UDB to offer high-level academic and professional training but also highlights the institutional effort to provide society with competent people in the areas of design and prototyping," said the Dean of the Faculty of Humanities, Milton Ascencio.
