Bahía Blanca, Argentina - March 2022 - Located in the heart of the "Northwest" neighborhood of Bahía Blanca, the Universidad Salesiana Argentina (UNISAL) began its academic year on March 14 with over 1,200 students returning to attend in person. The ceremony began in the church of "St. John Bosco" of "La Piedad", where the Rector of UNISAL, Héctor Rausch, after joyfully welcoming students, said that 21 research projects are active in the University to generate quality academic knowledge and that various works of projection to the outside are carried to establish solid ties with other social actors that enrich it. The Rector expressed joy that UNISAL is being evaluated for final accreditation by the Ministry of National Education and the National Commission for University Evaluation and Accreditation. Then, the Vice-Rector of UNISAL, Fr Guillermo Tanos, spoke and offered a brief moment of reflection on the different objectives of the University. UNISAL's educational offerings consist of eight courses in three faculties - Psychology, Law, and Social Sciences - and are carried out by 200 faculty members. During 2022 UNISAL offers interesting proposals for continuing education such as diplomas, courses, and seminars.
