Goma, D.R. Congo - January 2022 - On 31 January, the feast day of St. John Bosco, the Salesian Family of the "Don Bosco Ngangi" house in Goma, together with the educational and pastoral community, celebrated the feast of the Father and Teacher of Youth. In the introduction, in front of thousands of children, young people and educators, Fr Jean-Pierre Muhima Mutaka, Rector of the community of Ngangi, introduced the celebrant of the day, Fr Aurélien Mukangwa, AFC-EST Provincial Delegate. Addressing the educators and Salesian collaborators, Fr Mukangwa exhorted them to be true communicators of God's love to today's young people, following the example of Don Bosco; and he asked the young people to make the most of Don Bosco's charism for their integral development. The day saw various cultural celebrations in an atmosphere of celebration and joy.
