RMG – Rector Major meets outgoing and incoming President of World Confederation of Past Pupils of Don Bosco

(ANS – Rome) – Last Friday, December 17th, the Rector Major Fr. Angel Fernandez Artime met with the outgoing President of the World Confederation of Past Pupils of Don Bosco, Mr Michael Hort, following the 6th General World Assembly which was held online on the 26th – 28th November 2021.  During the meeting with the Rector Major, Mr. Hort officially gave the handing over to the newly elected World President Mr. Bryan Magro and thanked the Rector Major for the support that he had always shown toward the Past Pupils Movement.

The Rector Major showed his gratitude to Mr. Michal Hort for all the work in the last six years during the Presidency term between 2015 and 2021.  He also welcomed the newly elected President Mr. Bryan Magro who takes over the responsibility of the largest group in the Salesian Family. 

The Rector Major invited the new Presidency to unite, work together and serve the young people especially those most in need.  He stressed the importance of the Past Pupils and Friends of Don Bosco who are an integral part of the Salesian Family and he encouraged them to live the Salesian charism with their families, at their place of work and by committing themselves to charity.
