Hong Kong - November 2021 - Over 50 altar servers from 6 Salesian high schools gathered on November 28 in the "House of Our Lady" at the Salesian Mission House. After some ice-breaking games and group dynamics sessions, the participants were led to reflect on their relationship with the Lord. The figures of 3 patron saints of ministries were examined: St. Dominic Savio, St. Tarcisio, and St. John Berchmans. Afterwards, the Delegate for Youth Ministry, Fr. Antonio Leung, SDB, reminded the Salesian altar servers of the correct attitude in serving the Mass. He stressed that love for the Eucharist must be lived with concrete gestures, such as the constant visit to the Blessed Sacrament, the physical and spiritual preparation before receiving Holy Communion, the recitation of short prayers etc., Finally, the Eucharistic Adoration was held with the beautiful musical accompaniment of the young Salesians.
