Celje, Slovenia - November 2021 – On 27 November the "Don Bosco" Salesian Center in Celje organized the preparation of the traditional Advent wreaths, a very common custom in Slovenia. Under the guidance of Emil and Romana Špes, both professors from the Celje School of Horticulture and Visual Arts, the symbolism and purpose of Advent wreaths was also illustrated on the occasion. The initiative was attended by the Rector of the Youth Center, Fr Viktor Ganc SDB, and the parish priest, Fr Štefan Krampač SDB, who blessed the wreathes that each family then took home during Mass on the first Sunday of Advent.
