Szczyrk, Poland - November 2021 - From 7 to 13 November, at Szczyrk, in the Krakow Province (PLS), a spiritual retreat for the Salesian in their first five-years of priesthood in all four Polish Provinces took place, on the theme: "Prophets of Hope for Today's Young People". Leading the reflection was Fr Pascual Chávez Villanueva, SDB, Rector Major Emeritus. After completion of the retreat, Fr Chávez, met the community of Szczyrk and Wisła, and visited some Salesian houses in the PLS Province such as the Shrine of Przyłęków, Oświęcim, the Theological Studentate of Krakow, and the novitiate of Kopiec. In the end, he also visited the "Villages of the World" Global Education Park, run by the "Młodzi Światu" Salesian Missionary Volunteer Service (SWM), and celebrated Mass for the young people.
