Copacabana, Colombia - November 2021 - From 11 to 14 November, the Missionary Congress of the Salesian Province of Colombia-Medellín (COM) was held at "Villa de Sales" in Copacabana on the theme "Meeting Christ, Live in Hope". It was a significant experience in the mission for the young people of the Salesian institutions, who in October prepared for the meeting with all the missionaries, sharing the mission of the Church in the Salesian charism and renewing the commitment to be disciples of the Lord. The participants reflected on the theme of the kerygma and the First Proclamation, with an apostolic projection, in "Ciudad Don Bosco - Medellín", amid the reality of children and young people at risk who are the preferential option of the Salesian mission. The organizers thanked the Province’s Pastoral Educational Communities for their active participation and the COB and CMM Provinces, of the Daughters of Mary Help of Christians, for having joined the processes of formation and accompaniment of missionaries.
