Nairobi, Kenya - October 2021 - The General Councilor for Youth Ministry, Fr Miguel Ángel García Morcuende, visited the Salesian House "Don Bosco Boys Town" in Nairobi on 18 October. The visit is part of the joint meeting of the Delegates for Youth Ministry and the Delegates for Formation of the Africa-Madagascar Region at "Don Bosco Educational Services" in Nairobi. Fr García Morcuende, accompanied by all the Delegates, met the students and staff of the “Boys Town”, who welcomed them, singing the song “Raise your voice and sing your praises”. The General Councilor motivated the students by saying “Be happy! To be happy we don't need money and wealth, but to be authentic and truthful.” Fr García Morcuende and the Delegates were very impressed by how the “Boys Town” manages and deals with the formation of its students. Recently, state-of-the-art machinery was purchased and installed for the computerized automatic wheel balancing section, a new lathe in the mechanical section, and new generation sewing machines for the tailoring department.
