Here are some of the stimuli, ideas, indications and encouragement given by young people:
Be mothers who take care, with responsibility and seriousness, of the commitment to form and accompany the youth. Keep at heart vocational animation. Be a significant presence among the young, in all educational environments. Learn about the world of youth, which is in constant evolution. (...)
We thank you for your YES to your vocation, to service, to tenderness, to the witness of wisdom and to the journey we have traveled together (...)
We are facing a complex and challenging future, which we want to change. (...) Our life and all of humanity are continually challenged by violence and inequality (...) There are wars, hunger, poverty, forced migration, school dropouts, unemployment, and human rights are violated.
This is the reality in which we live and where we meet: you recognize it too; don’t you want to help us transform it? (...)
Feel accompanied with our prayer, so that the Holy Spirit enlightens you. And count on our commitment and discernment to build with you communities that generate life and hope.
We share what we would like you to consider for us: to be more open to the digital world and accompany us to know and live it with responsibility and a critical sense; be more open to social issues. (...)
Give more value to volunteer groups like VIDES.
We wish you to make the mission of the Daughters of Mary Help of Christians clearer and more visible and that your witness may have a strong influence on the hearts of young people.
We count on you to be the signs of the presence of Mary, who urges us to a life of holiness, compassion and love for our brothers and sisters.
What is a community that generates life? Like a plant and a seed, which need water, sun and fresh air, so is the FMA community. There is a need for love, for newness, to be with us young people, to listen and share, to "be there", involving and letting ourselves be involved in the Salesian educational mission.
Greetings to Mother Yvonne, to the Sisters of the Council and to all the participants in the General Chapter. We wish you a time of grace and gratitude, of hope and innovation, so that the Institute may continue to be fruitful in its mission.
