The purpose of this agreement is to improve the training curriculum of future agricultural technicians of this important formation center. All the authorities present, in fact, underlined the importance of the Salesian School in the conservation, protection, promotion and enhancement of rural culture and the environment.
During the activity and in alliance with the bodies present, the Council of Experts and Academics was created. It will have the task of managing the improvement process and the participation of the Ministry of the Environment and private entities in this initiative, leaving representatives of the parents and students very satisfied.
After the agreement was signed, the members of the new Council met for the first time to establish guidelines and commitments to advance the construction of the center.
This innovation will make it possible to manage all the processes associated with the teaching of the Salesian Agricultural School - production of milk, cheese, eggs, honey, wine, fruit, jams, fodder, and more - according to a model of circular economy and clean production and become an educational reference point for all rural realities.
The signing of the agreement, which took place in the first week of November, represents a great opportunity for the School, since, as stated by Nataly Araya, Director of the Institute, it is in line with the Salesian Pastoral Education Project (PEPS) and is a demonstration of the good practices carried out by the Salesian institute, also in collaboration with other actors, for the sustainable development of the planet.
