Fuerte Olimpo, Paraguay - October 2020 - The Missionaries of the Apostolic Vicariate of Chaco Paraguayo took part in the Ordinary Assembly which took place from 11 to 14 October. The meeting was chaired by the Bishop of the Vicariate, Msgr. Gabriel Escobar, SDB, in the presence of Fr Mario Villalba, Provincial of the Salesian Province of Paraguay (PAR), and Sr. Marcina Toledo, Provincial of the FMA. In Chaco Paraguayo, the Salesian Congregation, a pioneer of these lands, is active with two communities made up of four Salesians each: Puerto Casado and Carmelo Peralta. For some years other religious from other congregations and diocesans have also been working there.
