Brazil - AMA project delivers 6 artesian wells to indigenous villages
Campo Grande, Brazil - October 2020 - The "Ambulant Mission Assistance" (AMA) project is an initiative of the Brazil-Campo Grande Province (BCG) which aims to provide technical support to Salesians who work in missions with indigenous populations, especially with the Xavante and Boe-Bororo ethnic groups. The working group of the AMA project, led by Salesian Brother Alois Würstle, delivered 6 artesian wells in the villages of Campinápolis and Aldeia Corpo de Cristo in the first days of October, built to make up for the serious lack of water. Over 50 families have benefited from the new wells.
