Turin, Italy - October 2020 - On 5 October the Rector Major, Fr Ángel Fernández Artime, visited the community of the theological studentate of Turin “Crocetta”. Accompanied by the Superior of the Special Circumscription Piedmont and Valle d'Aosta (ICP), Fr Leonardo Mancini, the Rector Major prayed vespers and encouraged the young Salesians to take care of their formation as pastors with a burning heart, especially towards the neediest and poorest of young people. After the meeting in the chapel, there was a fraternal dinner and an evening together in which Fr Á.F. Artime was accompanied by Fr Miguel Angel García Morcuende, General Councilor for Youth Ministry, and Fr Roman Joachimowicz, Councilor for the Central and Northern Europe Region. The two Councilors, for the first time in the community, greeted those present. “We were very honored and grateful for this visit and we thank the Rector Major for his concern for our community and his continuous fatherly support,” said Fr Marek Chrzan, Rector of the “Crocetta”.
