In previous years, this presentation was held in person in various areas of the Province, and always saw the participation of Salesians, principals and heads of the different areas of the houses, members of the Salesian Family, educators ... This year, given the circumstances, this new online format has been chosen.
A common framework for all
The PAI is the common framework for all the houses and activities of the Province, as it establishes the fundamental guidelines for the year 2020-21. Each school, youth center, parish, social platform or Salesian community has its own program, its objectives and its dynamics of operation, but the PAI points out those aspects on which, as a Province and in harmony with the Congregation, the Salesians intend to work.
For this reason, an objective has been set that crosses the objectives and lines of action of the various provincial delegations: "Let us take care of our Salesian identity while remaining faithful to our educational-pastoral mission among the young."
This objective is then implemented in several lines of concrete action for each Salesian, for each community and for each educative-pastoral community and group of the Salesian Family.

"Something new is dawning"
Along with the general objective of the whole Province, the pastoral campaign for the new year of activity was also presented. It is a campaign that emphasizes four axes: giving priority to caring for people, discovering the value of life and the relationships that humanize; living in an "outgoing attitude", at the service of others, especially those who need it most; educate the gaze and the heart in this time of change, committing oneself to building a new world in which the person is always at the center; and strengthen the daily experience of faith, rediscovering the presence of God in daily life through personal and community prayer.
To this end, resources and materials were prepared for the entire year of activity and for the various environments, available on the Province website.
