Paraguay - "Salesianito" wins Municipal Prize for Human Rights
Asunción, Paraguay - November 2019 - The students of the school "Sagrado Corazón de Jesús - Salesianito" won 1st place at the Municipal Prize for Student Initiative on Human Rights organized by the Municipal Council of Asunción, in the "Public Services" category. The winning project is called "The world of Derni" and is a new educational game for learning the rights of children, which was subjected to a quasi-experimental investigation to show that applied in the classroom, it produces positive effects in learning the rights and duties. "We are proud and honored to have the opportunity to meet the concerns of a youth mobilized and involved in social issues," says part of the Municipal Council statement. The project was developed by the students Camila García, Katherine Cáceres, Alicia Rodríguez and Ramón Cardozo, led by prof. Carlos Molinas.
