Papua New Guinea - Salesian students talk about climate change on the radio
Port Moresby, Papua New Guinea - March 2019 - On 13 March, five students of the "Don Bosco Technical School" of Gabutu, Port Moresby, participated in the interactive program "Chat Room", broadcast live by the radio station "TribeFM", and spoke on the topic: "Climate change and its effect on our lives." Young people shared their views on climate change, stressing the need to raise awareness on the issue among their peers and what can be done to reduce their causes and impact. The event, which will also be broadcast by the broadcaster NBC TV, was organized in collaboration with the Social Communication Office of the Episcopal Conference of Papua New Guinea-Solomon Islands, led by Salesian Fr Ambrose Pereira.
