India - Free medical visits and blood donation service
Guwahati, India - August 2016 – On 12 and 13 August the Salesian Institute in Tura held an initiative to raise awareness of social responsibility and service to the needy by providing free eye-tests and inviting people to donate blood. Over 400 people showed up to give blood, while the medical team examined more than 200 patients, promising free cataract operations for those who needed them.
