Sarría, Venezuela - October 2017 - On October 7, Salesians Jose Rafael Guarique, Victor Mendoza, and Phan Tuan, a Vietnamese missionary, were ordained deacons. The ceremony took place in the Temple of Mary Help of Christians by the hands of Msgr. Raul Biord Castillo, SDB, bishop of the diocese of La Guaira, and in the presence of Salesian bishops Mgr. Enrique Parravano and Msgr. José Ángel Divasson, members of the Provincial Council of the Salesians of Venezuela, and a large group of Salesians of various centers from around the country.
