(ANS - Campo Grande) – "We have made a choice of Congregation: we will never abandon our presence among the original peoples." With these very clear words, pronounced on the sidelines of the 150th Salesian Missionary Expedition (2019), the Rector Major of the Salesians, Ángel Fernández Artime, today a Cardinal, established in a clear and compelling way the perennial commitment of the Sons of Don Bosco in favour of indigenous peoples. This is particularly true for Brazil and the Campo Grande Missionary Province of Brazil (BCG), where engagement with indigenous peoples is a fundamental part of Salesian work.

(ANS – Pamplona) –  The Salesians of Pamplona hosted the second technical conference for graphic arts teachers on 11 and 12 June 2024. About 40 people from Salesian schools of graphic arts from all over Spain participated.

(ANS – Manouba) – The Executive Council of the Past Pupils World Confederation (EXA DB), coordinated by its World President Bryan Magro, met in Tunis from 13 to 16 June 2024, to welcome and support the first steps of the EXA DB Union in the Salesian Our Lady of Carthage presence in the city of Manouba, on the outskirts of Tunis.

(ANS – Warsaw) – Mission to Poland for "Don Bosco Tech Europe APS", the Social Promotion Association that coordinates Salesian Vocational Training in the Old Continent. The leadership of the institution recently conducted a preparatory visit to the Salesian Saint Stanislaus Kotska Province of Warsaw, Poland (PLE). The main objective of this visit was to lay the foundations for future European projects aimed at promoting the mobility of students, apprentices and staff within the Salesian educational context.

(ANS – Rome) – As part of the work of the summer plenary session of the General Council, Card. Ángel Fernández Artime, Rector Major of the Salesians of Don Bosco, with the consent of the other members of the General Council, has appointed Fr Roberto Colameo Superior of the Sacred Heart Circumscription of Central Italy for the six-year period 2024-2030.
