(ANS– Rome) – The last video in the series "It is Time for Chapter 28", with which Cardinal Ángel Fernández Artime, Rector Major of the Salesians of Don Bosco, illustrated the eight Action Guidelines delivered after the 28th General Chapter, will be made public on Wednesday, 26 June 2024, from 1 pm Italian time (UTC+2). In this last episode, the guideline entitled: "Accompanying young people towards a SUSTAINABLE FUTURE" will be examined.

(ANS – Rome) – The 2024 Thanksgiving Celebration for the Rector Major was a true festivity of fraternity and sharing. In the beautiful setting of the Salesian community "San Callisto" near the catacombs of St. Tarcisius on the Appian Way in Rome, the Salesians of the Central Salesian Headquarters – and beyond – expressed their gratitude towards the 10th Successor of Don Bosco for his 10 years of service to the Congregation and the Salesian Family. They also honored their confreres celebrating significant anniversaries of profession or ordination this year.

(ANS – Rome) – During the days from 18 to 22 June 2024, the Continental Coordinators and the General Coordinator of the Salesian Higher Education Institutions (IUS) network met in Rome to hold their evaluation, review and design meeting for the period 2022-2026.

(ANS – Dungalpitiya) – From June 19th to June 21st, 2024, the Salesian Provincial House in Dungalpitiya in Sri Lanka was humming with creativity and enthusiasm as young Salesians from the Practical Training and Philosophy Brothers who participated in an intensive Mobile Journalism (MoJo) workshop. This unique event for 15 persons was facilitated by Fr. Maciej Makula SDB and Miss Aleksandra Stankiewicz, who shared their expertise and guided the participants through a comprehensive journey of modern media skills.

(ANS – Rome) – The Formation and Orientation Course for newly appointed Provincials concluded on Friday, 21 June 2024. Gathered at Salesian Headquarters, eight Superiors of Salesian Circumscriptions from four Regions participated in an experience of accompaniment and sharing that prepared them for their mission of guiding and governing their respective Provinces or Vice-Provinces.

(ANS – Sliema) – On 24 June, the Nativity of St John the Baptist, St John Bosco’s name day and the symbolic date of the foundation of the Past Pupils of Don Bosco, the President of the World Confederation, Bryan Magro, sent a message from Malta in which, recalling the roots of the feast, he casts his gaze forward to the new challenges awaiting the Past Pupils, starting with the forthcoming Extraordinary World General Assembly.
