(ANS – Lisbon) – The "Musicentro", the Salesian music centre in Lisbon, turns thirty. The date was indicated by the Director, Luís Carlos Peleira, in a text published a few days ago by the school itself, to pay tribute to this dream, begun thirty years ago, of a different music school which did not require prerequisites, where everyone found a place and had the right to learn to play and sing, regardless of their skills.

(ANS) – More than 13,000 Spanish children, young people and adolescents are preparing to experience a new Salesian Summer. With the involvement of 2,100 Leaders and Salesians, the many initiatives proposed are already underway. The offer consists of numerous activities, ranging from summer camps, and formation courses. All the activities are made possible thanks to the great work of the Youth Ministry teams in the Salesian Provinces of Spain, and the youth centres. The aim is to offer leisure and free time in settings characterised by the Salesian charism.

(ANS – Bled) – The Salesian Forum will meet in Bled, Slovenia from 20 to 23 August 2024, on the theme "A second chance", three days of study that intend to promote study and mutual exchanges around Don Bosco and the Salesian tradition at European level.

(ANS – Pontoise) –  "C 'est mon histoire" (This is my story)could seem "just" a music video clip, one of the millions that populate the Web. But it is more than that: it is the story that four young people from the Salesian Garelli 95 association in Pontoise, in the French department of Val-d'Oise, in France. They have created it for the "Festiclip" Salesian festival of short films that the Salesians of the Province of France and Southern Belgium (FRB) make every year at the beginning of June. With their emotional video, Souleymane, Adama, Baraka and Mabinty told their migration story with great lucidity.

(ANS – Rome) – Organisers of the Course on “Integral Ecology: from Laudato Si' to Laudate Deum, offered in digital mode thanks to collaboration from the pontifical universities and colleges in Rome, have scheduled for Thursday, 27 June 2024 (1:30-3:30 p.m. - UTC+2) an International Online Conference to close the course, entitled: "LAUDATE DEUM. A Last Call for the Planet".

(ANS – Brussels) – On 17 and 18 June, Fr Maximus Okoro, Director of Don Bosco Tech Africa, was welcomed in Brussels by Don Bosco International (DBI), the body that represents the Salesian Congregation within the institutions of the European Union (EU).
