Manaus, Brazil - November 2023 - The young people of the Manaus area celebrated the 25th anniversary of the Salesian Youth Movement on 15 November at the Colégio Dom Bosco centre. The event, entitled "SYM Celebration: Today we are your dream come true", was attended by 300 young people from Salesian works. The opening Mass was presided over by the Delegate for Youth Ministry in the Salesian Province of Manaus (BMA), Fr José Ivanildo, with the participation of the Salesians of the area and the Salesian Family. At the end of the mass in the auditorium, the young people took part in a show with lots of music, dance, theatre and magic, led by Salesian Brother Antônio Stefani in the role of the Sales magician. Then in the late afternoon there was the festival of colours, lots of electronic music with young people dancing. The feast ended with the consecration to Our Lady, where the young people thanked Mary Help of Christians for the success of the event.
