Nicaragua - Solidarity campaign: "Sharing dreams and smiles"
Granada, Nicaragua - November 2023 - In September and October, the young people from the Salesian work in Granada carried out a solidarity campaign called "Sharing dreams and smiles", an initiative aimed at sharing Salesian joy, promoting charity and empathy with the children of the St Vincent de Paul Special School and the elderly people living in the La Provvidenza Care Home. Representing the educational community, Year 10 students brought sweets, candies, and food to share with the campaign recipients. An opportunity for the young people to meet new situations, listen, converse and be part of the daily life of these places.
