Santiago, Chile - September 2023 - Nearly 60 young people and leaders from the country's educative and pastoral communities took part in the Convention of Student Centres belonging to the Salesian School Network, held at the Lo Cañas Spirituality Centre from 31 August to 1 September. The meeting, with the motto "COINCIDING in leadership in the service of young people", was aimed at accompanying the representatives of the Student Centres in the Network through dialogue and the delivery of guidelines by the provincial team, to strengthen the service and leadership they promote in their various Educative and Pastoral Centres. The themes developed  included looking at ourselves as Salesian leaders; profile of the Salesian leader; designing projects as Salesian leaders; the importance of teamwork; sharing successful project practices; and digital communication tools to rally young Salesians. The meeting was attended by the Provincial Delegate for Youth Ministry, Fr Juan Miguel Cárcamo; the Executive Coordinator of Provincial Youth Ministry Team, Freddy Araya; Karin Cañón, Councillor for Environment and Support; Sebastián Arriagada, Councillor for the Technical-Professional sphere; Vanessa Páez, Pedagogical Consultant; and Marcela Vera, Coordinator of the Family sphere.
