Costa Rica – The “Getting to know Don Bosco” Salesianity course
Cartago, Costa Rica - June 2023 – On Monday 19 June, the Salesian St Dominic Savio Centre began the Getting to know Don Bosco Salesianity Course, under the guidance of the Centre's Director, Fr Héctor Hernández, SDB, and with the coordination of the Salesian Cooperators. The objective of this course is to form members of the various groups in the Educative and Pastoral Community and thus achieve greater knowledge through the historical, genetic, procedural and theological study of the figure of Don Bosco. At present, more than 40 members of the Educative and Pastoral Community, including young people and adults, are taking part in this course, a number that highlights the commitment to seeking solid and enriching formation. The Centre encourages ongoing formation through activities such as these, and strengthens the sense of belonging to the Salesian Family in a journey to build a united and committed community.
