Spain - Don Bosco International Magic Circle shows its support in Seville
Seville, Spain - March 2022 - The Salesian home of the "Holy Trinity" in Seville welcomed a new edition of the gala "The Magic of Don Bosco" on March 4 to raise funds for the "Proyecto Aprés", an initiative that offers psychosocial support to minors. St. John Bosco is considered, among others, the Patron Saint of Magicians and Illusionists. He received this historical recognition from the celebration of the National Congress of Magic in Segovia in 1953, when the date of January 31 (liturgical feast of Don Bosco) was taken as an example of the education and evangelization of young people with the use of this noble art. The new edition of the show "The Magic of Don Bosco" was organized by the Youth Center "Adelante" and the "Fundación Don Bosco Salesianos Social", in collaboration with the "Circolo Magico Internazionale Don Bosco" (CDMIDB). Prestidigitators Drolu, Nano Tena, and Tatiana, and Magician Jafur performed during the show to bring "illusion, in a preferential form, to those without hope," as the mission of CDMIDB states. That's why all proceeds from the show went to "Proyecto Aprés", an initiative of the Salesian house "Holy Trinity".
