Brazil - Meeting of SYM delegates from Brazil and other South American countries
Brazil - April 2021 - On 10 April the meeting of the Delegates of the Salesian Youth Movement (SYM) took place online. 25 young people from Brazil and other South American countries took part. The meeting was coordinated by Fr Rafael Bejarano, member of the Youth Ministry Department, Coordinator for Social Works of the Interamerica and America South Cone Regions. The meeting's primary objectives were to set down the formative guidelines and to share the experiences of the work done by the young Salesians in South American presences. Among the priorities defined, there are: the formation of animators in the Salesian charism; sharing the knowledge acquired, based on the realities experienced in each country; to always have a Salesian present in the accompaniment of young people in SYM groups.
