The purpose of the course is to promote integral formation according to one's own charism and suitability to the presbyteral ministry. The course is divided into five dimensions, which are strictly linked to each other and structured to foster a strong revival of consecrated and presbyteral life in its essential and vital aspects, namely: spiritual / biblical; theological; anthropological (psychological - sociological - cultural); ecclesiastic / charismatic; educational / experiential.
The formula of a sapiential - practical character, now more than tried and tested, directs the Course especially to those who already have experience as formators who intend to undertake four months of ongoing training so that they may expand and update their knowledge and skills for service, in view of one's mission. For this purpose a wide range of magisterial interventions are expected, responding to the real needs of the participants, who are from many different Institutes and backgrounds.
Of notable interest the five seminars proposed: Methodology of the Formative Project; Lectio Divina exercise; Exercises / Empathic interview laboratory & Counseling; Problem forum of vocational cases. One last seminar is Community Animation, which is divided into five afternoon workshops. The direct involvement of students in specific experiences is also especially important: the Week of Fraternity and Cohabitation; the visit / interiorization in Assisi, in Lecceto at the monastery of the Augustinian nuns and in Marino at the formative structure of the Oblate missionaries of Mary Immaculate.
It is worth noting that the success of the course has an interesting impact on the esteem of the UPS in the various Religious Institutes and in the increase in enrollment in academic courses, particularly in the Faculty of Educational Sciences. One of the characteristics that emerge is also the type of fraternal relationship that is established between the participants involved that can be said to be daily in group dynamics and sharing their experience for the issues that are addressed during their school hours.
