Lednica, Poland – June 2024 - A National Youth Meeting was held on 1 June in the Fields of Lednica, at which young people from various Salesian works in Poland were also present. Over 18,000 people gathered there, including Salesian youth, with this year's motto “Return Home”. A small gathering of the Salesian Family also took places part of the meeting. The event began with the Chaplet of Divine Mercy and ended with integration dances. A special moment in Lednica2000 was the sending of missionary volunteers from the Salesian Missionary Centre in Warsaw. The young Salesian missionaries received their missionary crosses with prayers from thousands of young people. Another important moment was the "Eagles Parade", in which volunteers walked the "Millennium Path" with the flags of the countries they will be going to. As the volunteers said, "what we felt during that day will remain forever in our hearts".
