Maynooth, Ireland - November 2023 - On 11 November, St Patrick's Pontifical University in Maynooth celebrated its annual graduation ceremony. On this occasion, the first group of students of the Salesian Youth Ministry and Spirituality course received their diplomas. The new course, which started in September 2022, was organised by the Salesian Province of Ireland (IRL) in collaboration with St Patrick's University, and is taught by four Salesians. On the previous evening, a celebration was held with a number of students receiving academic awards from various faculties of the university. Among the awardees were two Salesians: Johan Bugeja, from Malta, and Vinh Tran Han, from Vietnam. Present on both occasions was Fr Eunan McDonnell, Superior of the IRL Province.
