Caracas, Venezuela - 15 November 2023 - Fr Hugo Orozco, Councillor for the Interamerica Region, has arrived in the Salesian St Luke Province, Venezuela (VEN), sent by the Rector Major to visit all the Salesian communities in order to have a meeting rich in fraternity, listening and dialogue with each of the Salesians. On his arrival Fr Orozco had the opportunity to meet Fr Rafael Montenegro, Superior of the VEN Province, and his council, and then had an online meeting with the Salesians of the various communities. It was a moment of fraternity, dialogue and joyful conversation that encourages the VEN Province to move forward, discerning what God wants in order to continue to accompany young people in a credible manner. The Councillor now begins his visit to the Salesian formation communities in Los Teques, post-novitiate and pre-novitiate, and then on 18 November he will go to Valencia for the start of the celebration of the 130th anniversary of the arrival of the Salesians in the country.
