Cebu, The Philippines - October 2023 - The last few years, marked by the pandemic, have been particularly quiet in the Salesian Youth Centres. Repopulating them involves bringing young people back, with their laughter and fun, and nothing can attract young people more than sports. Thus, the 'Don Bosco' Youth Centres of Metro Cebu organized several sporting events, involving young people from Pasil, Lourdes Parish, 'Don Bosco Technical College' and Lawaan. The youngsters took part in tournaments such as volleyball, basketball and five-a-side football, filling the void of the last few years. All these activities served as an introduction to the upcoming sports championship between the different Youth Centres, which will be launched in the coming weeks. The activities are co-ordinated by the Salesian Youth Movement.
