Bogotá, Colombia - October 2023 - On 1 October, Fr Wenceslao Koupil, SDB, celebrated his 100th birthday together with the Salesians from St Peter Claver Province. Fr Koupil, of Czechoslovak origin, is an example of an inspiring missionary and preacher for the Sons of Don Bosco. He served for more than 20 years as a lawyer at the Ecclesiastical Tribunal of the Archdiocese of Bogotá. On this occasion he presided at the Holy Eucharist, giving thanks to God for his life and priestly vocation in the service of young people.
