Jaboatão dos Guararapes, Brazil - August 2022 - A meeting of the Curatorium of the Salesian Novitiate community "São Sebastião," located in Jaboatão dos Guararapes, in the Brazilian state of Pernanbuco, was held on Tuesday, August 9. The meeting was attended by the Provincial Superiors of the Provinces that have novices within it: Fr. Francisco Inácio, Brazil-Recife (BRE), Fr. Justo Ernesto Piccinini, Brazil-São Paulo (BSP), and Fr. Gilson Marcos da Silva, Brazil-Porto Alegre. The discussion was preceded by a Eucharistic celebration presided by Fr. Inácio, in the presence of the entire formation community of the novitiate. Fr. Gabriel Romero, Councilor for the America-Southern Cone Region, also participated in this moment of sharing and listening, remotely and connected via web. The Curatorium continued throughout the day with its special program of dialogue and sharing between the formation community and the Provincials involved, and the meeting concluded in a festive atmosphere with a fraternal agape for all.
