Tigaraksa, Indonesia – June 2022 - The Salesian confreres from the Vice Province of Indonesia (INA) have just finished their yearly retreat in the SDB community of Tigaraksa. This is the first off-line (in presence) retreat since the start of pandemic in 2020. The preacher of this retreat was Fr. Andy Mendoza, SDB, the Rector of the DBFC (Don Bosco Formation Center in Lawaan-Talisay City), an Aspirantate and Prenovitiate in Philippines South (FIS province). The spiritual retreat of 23 Salesians was held from June 19 until 25. The topic of the retreat was tuned with the theme of Rector Major's Strenna and 400th death anniversary of the St. Francis de Sales.
According our Constitutions "the annual retreat is an occasion of spiritual renewal, which Don Bosco considered the fundamental part and the synthesis of all the practices of piety ... and time of grace that restores to our spirit a deep unity in the Lord Jesus and keep alive in us the expectation on his return." (Art. 91)
There will be the second retreat from 24th of July, preached and guided by Fr. Andre Delimarta, SDB.
