Licheń, Poland - April 2022 - The XIV Provincial Chapter of the Salesians of the Province of St. Adalbert of Piła (PLN) was held from April 19-23, 2022, at the Shrine of Our Lady of Sorrows, Queen of Poland, in Licheń. It was attended by 72 Salesians representing the Salesian religious communities of the Province, present in Poland, Georgia, Russia, and Sweden. The theme of this special meeting was "The Sacrament of Presence", that is, the Salesian identity. The purpose of this Chapter was to objectively evaluate the Province’s situation, the Salesian presence among young people and to define the "road map" for the coming years. On the day of the inauguration of the Chapter, the Salesians of Piła also received a visit from Fr Roman Jachimowicz, SDB, Councilor of the Region of Central and Northern Europe, the Daughters of Mary Help of Christians, representatives of the Salesian Family, and young people. The Chapter concluded with the Provincial Feast, on Saturday 23rd April, in the postnovitiate of Ląd.
