Kumgi, Papua New Guinea - August 2021 - The students, staff and religious community of the "Don Bosco Simbu" Technical Institute celebrated the 206th anniversary of Don Bosco's birth and the 26th anniversary of the Institute's foundation from 16th to 20th August. With the motto "Don Bosco stay with us and guide us", numerous activities were organized, coordinated by Fr Clifford Morais, SDB, deputy administrator of the institute, and by teachers and young animators, who involved the students in various competitions and initiatives of development of their talents. During the closing Mass, presided by Msgr. Paul Sundu, Bishop of the diocese of Kundiawa, 23 people, including some students of “Don Bosco Simbu”, received the sacrament of Confirmation.
