Lisbon, Portugal - January 2021 - On 23 January, the meeting of the Salesian Family of Portugal took place on the Zoom platform during which the Strenna 2021 of the Rector Major, Fr Ángel Fernández Artime, entitled: «Moved by hope: "Behold, I am making all things new" (Rev 21,5)» was presented. The meeting was attended by Fr Gildásio Mendes dos Santos, General Councilor for Social Communication, who led the reflection and who addressed words of hope to those present. Fr José Aníbal Mendonça, Provincial of the Salesians of Portugal, Sr. Rosa Cândida Gomes, Provincial of the FMA, Fr Álvaro Lago, Delegate for Youth Ministry, Fr João Chaves, Director of the Salesians of Lisbon, also attended the presentation, offering a message to young people in these very complicated times. The message of hope included in the theme of the Strenna 2021, they said, will help young people to walk in these new times and educators to be a reflection of God in everyone's life.
