Seville, Spain - May 2020 - The first online meeting of the Provincial Council of the "Mary Help of Christians" Salesian Province of Spain (SMX) was held on 8 May with the staff of provincial services. The event was chaired by Fr Ángel Asurmendi, SMX Provincial, with the participation of 138 people who ordinarily work in the structures of Seville, Valencia, Barcelona, Córdoba and Alicante. The meeting served to thank them for their service during the COVID-19 pandemic, to inform about the health status of various communities, to highlight the good example provided by the major Salesians in nursing homes and to remember all the deceased.
