Syria - February 2023 - As the death toll from the terrible earthquake continues to rise, relief efforts to help survivors have not stopped. In Syria, Salesians are working tirelessly to provide shelter for those who have lost everything. So many in Aleppo and surrounding areas have been left without a home, without basic necessities, without a place to go. The Salesians have thus opened their doors, reminded them that "the Church is the house of God and it is the house of all." Thanks to the support of so many benefactors, Salesian Mission Offices, Offices of Planning and Development, and Salesian NGOs, a large mobilization has begun to bring aid to all those in need.
