Campo Grande, Brazil - April 2023 - As is customary every year, "São João Bosco" Parish in Campo Grande and the local group of Salesian Cooperators, promoted the Easter Campaign, collecting chocolate eggs to be donated to 200 children and youth of the social work "Salesianos Ampare" and 120 minors of the social work "Casa Dom Bosco," both in Campo Grande. Great was the joy of all involved, both the young beneficiaries of the initiative and those who carried it out: "Much more than sweets, Easter represents for us the resurrection and the love of Jesus Christ." A short film on Jesus' passion, death, and resurrection was also shown at the presentation of Easter gifts, and one of the students said, "'I promised God that my last breath would be for the youth.' This is a phrase that Don Bosco left us, and I thank you today for carrying out his dream."

Alcoy, Spain - April 2023 - The Extraordinary Vocational Training Awards for middle and high school grades are the official recognition of the merits of students who have brilliantly completed this educational stage. Student Laura Leva Muntó, who attends the "Salesianos Juan XXIII" work in Alcoy, was awarded the Extraordinary Award for Intermediate Vocational Training, in the area of Transportation and Vehicle Maintenance for the 2021-2022 academic year. Laura Leva enrolled in the 2020-2021 academic year to complete the intermediate training cycle in Vehicle Electromechanics. "In addition to showing great interest in the automotive world and distinguishing herself with good grades, she also participated, with great utility, in other activities, such as the Erasmus+ KA229 program, and was part of the group of electromechanics students who designed and built the solar bank structure that is currently located in the courtyards of our center," they explain from the Salesian house. Laura currently works at the "Talleres Midas" chain of workshops, where she is perfecting some processes, while at the same time continuing her studies, having taken a new course in Transportation and Vehicle Maintenance. Salvador, Brazil - April 2023 - The play "Passion of Christ," the musical of the Salesian High School in Salvador has turned 10 years old. The show, directed by Gustavo Nery, with an innovative script and a soundtrack composed of songs by big names in Bahia state music, is produced by students and alumni of the Salesian High School in Salvador. From production to costumes, choreography to performances, a harmonious and complementary collaboration was experienced where the young students took a distinct role during the creative process. The musical results in a balance between modernity and tradition, in a dynamic and electrifying combination, and gives the viewer new interpretive perspectives and an Easter message of hope. In addition, the show aims to support families in Rio Grande do Norte through a fundraiser.
