La Serena, Chile - May 2023 - After the harshest years of the pandemic, which did not allow its normal course, the traditional procession in honor of Mary Help of Christians through the streets of the city of La Serena has returned. Last May 28, in fact, a multitude of pilgrims, young people, adults, and the elderly, joined the procession, which started from the courtyard of the Salesian school "San Ramón." After a long route through the city streets, with prayers and supplications, and a stop at the gates of the Cathedral, the procession then made its return, passing through the street of Regimiento Coquimbo. On the reentry, a solemn Eucharist was celebrated, at the Shrine of Mary Help of Christians, in the presence of many faithful. Fr. Miguel Rojas Andrade, Director of the Salesian presence in La Serena, presided over the celebrations, saying he was happy for the participation of so many faithful, of all ages. The event was also attended by several representatives of the Salesian Family and the "Guía Lemu Don Bosco" Scout Group, which carried in procession an original banner on which were written the names of all the mothers of the students of the Salesian school.

Manaus, Brazil - May 2023 - "With Mary Help of Christians, on mission in the Amazon" was the theme of the "Marian Walk 2023" held in Manaus on May 27. It was a moment of unity for the Salesian Family of the Manaus area to express their gratitude to Our Lady as the leader of the mission in Amazonia. The meeting took place at the "Nossa Senhora Auxiliadora" school and the official opening of the path was led by the Daughters of Mary Help of Christians who, through animation, prayer, and theater, presented some of the history of their 100 years of presence in the Amazon. After the solemn opening, the route continued through the streets of Manaus to the Shrine of St. Joseph the Worker, animated by the band of the social work "Pró-minor Dom Bosco." Once at the shrine, the parish youth group led the rite of Mary's coronation. The program then continued with a snack for all and a festive oratory, a time when all the works of Manaus could meet and live the dream of St. John Bosco all together: an oratory as a setting for great joy.
