Fatumaca, Timor-Leste – June 2023 – 158 people made their promise as members of the ADMA in the Salesian Timor-Leste Vice-Province (TLS) on 24 June at the National Shrine in Fatumaca.  Fr Manuel Pinto, Vice-Superior of the TLS Vice-Province, celebrated the Eucharist, concelebrated by Fr Manuel Ximenes, Delegate for ADMA in the TLS Vice-Province, with 4 other priests. Present at the celebration were many ADMA members from different centres around the country together with their president and her close collaborators, FMA sisters, their Vice-Provincial, Sr Evangelina Xavier da Costa, FMA, and new members' families. After the homily, the candidates made their promise to live the virtues of Mary, ready to be her witnesses in their Christian life as well as promoters of devotion to Our Lady. Each candidate received Our Lady's Medal and the ADMA Manual as a rule of life. At the end of the celebration, in front of the Shrine, the ADMA TLS presented the first edition of its bulletin.

The Salesian Parish of Mary Help of Christians, Naigaon, Mumbai, hosted a riveting five-a-side competition featuring 16 teams on June 25. SC Bacaim outplayed Funksters to clinch a 4-2 victory. Sixteen teams from across the neighbourhood and its outskirts participated in the tournament. “We’ve had a turnout of more than 300 youngsters, and it has been a fantastic experience to work with the Youth Group to help put this tournament together. It’s great to see so many teams come together from diverse groups, not just from the neighbourhood but also from Mumbai,” said Mr Ivo Monteiro, Vice President of the Youth Wing of MHOC.

San Nicolás de los Arroyos, Argentina – June 2023 – Salesian Otto Kalenberg was ordained a priest on 24 June in the Shrine of Our Lady of the Rosary in San Nicolás de los Arroyos, Buenos Aires, by Bishop Héctor Zordán, Bishop of Gualeguaychú. Present at the ceremony was Fr Horacio Barbieri, Superior of the Salesian Province of Argentina North (ARN), together with family members, friends, consecrated persons and the community of Concepción del Uruguay, where Kalenberg currently carries out his pastoral work.

Warsaw Poland - June 2023 –On 11 June the Don Bosco International Volunteers completed their training at the Salesian Mission Centre in Warsaw, receiving their missionary crosses. In a few days these 19 young people will leave for mission posts to follow their vocation, to which they felt called, and to bear witness to their faith. The Holy Mass began at 11.30 a.m. in the Basilica of the Sacred Heart of Jesus in Warsaw. Fr Tadeusz Jarecki, Provincial of Warsaw was main celebrant. After the homily, each of the volunteers was introduced by Fr Jacek Zdzieborski, Director of the Warsaw Mission Office, then the Provincial handed over missionary crosses to the young people. Five young people will go to Africa and South America for long-term voluntary work, and 14 will go on short-term missions of up to four months. Each of them is driven by a strong need to be with those in need and to give what they have. A week earlier, on 3 June, during the 27th Youth Meeting in Lednica, five missionary volunteers going on long-term missions to Zambia, Ethiopia and Bolivia received their crosses from Archbishop Wojciech Polak, Primate of the Church in Poland.
