(ANS - Castelnuovo Don Bosco) – Today, in the second interview with the Salesians departing with the 153rd Salesian Missionary Expedition we meet Roger Mbayo Mukadi, a Salesian priest, Congolese, 35 years old, radically belonging to the "Mary Most Holy Assumption" Province of Central Africa (ACF). With previous missionary service experience behind him at Palabek, the refugee center operating in Uganda, he is now set to work with and for young people in Venezuela.

As this appointment approaches, a series of interviews with the Salesians who will receive the Missionary Cross on that occasion from the hands of the Rector Major, Fr. Ángel Fernández Artime, begins today on ANS. Today inaugurating that journey is young Korean Paul Hoon Kang, destined for the Salesian presence in Mongolia.

(ANS - Kyiv) - Saying Mass, doing communion, and confessing soldiers and civilians while all around there is war with its load of suffering and death, is not easy; but a priest sustained by faith, community, and charism is also called to face similar challenges. As does Oleh Ladnyuk, a Salesian, teacher, and military chaplain since 2014, who talks today about the hard experience of war, what drives him and what helps him from his past experience, and also the "miracles" he witnesses whenever he managed to escape death under the gunfire and shelling.
